Most of you have heard of the decision by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas that rendered parts of the NFA Act unconstatutional. Although this is good news, it was NOT a nationwide ruling. It only covers the States, groups, businesses, and persons who were the plaintiffs of the case. The State of Michigan was NOT included in this ruling. If you live in Michigan you are still required to fill out all the necessary forms and submit a photo and either digital fingerprints or ink fingerprints along with your Form 1/4 and wait for approval to the NFA to get your tax stamp. This applies to ALL Suppressors, SBR’s, SBS’s, and AOW’s.
